drawings from a abandoned book project

I fell over these yesterday and thought that i wanted to share them with you.

Its a portion of the drawings from a abandoned book project that I did years ago together with Karin Feit Almberg.
It started with me drawing along whatever I fancied to draw and since i thought there to be a story hidden somewhere I talked to a good colleague whom recommend me to contact Karin. As she thought it to be a splendid idea and soon made the story her own.... and made a very nice story...They are in slightly different state uploaded onto my long forgotten homepage.

It was a  fun project to do...a shame it never went further...

I have been using this character for singel drawing for some time but felt it could be fun to do something that could be read as a story.. I hope you enjoy

mikisoq - from the drawer

-the four pic´s above are some of the very early ones I did in the evening while working on another project. The story wasn't there yet so a lot was open. So I just doodled around and made these rough moods. It was a great project to work on... as shame it never made to the screen. You find the more elaborate designs here and here

Gummi T - Jelly T design

- last week the feature Gummi T - or Jelly T that I worked on last year had its première.
It was a fun job and interesting to have a second go on the Ole Lund Kirkegård universe, this time with Michael Hegner as director. We reused the set done for Orla Frøsnapper and altered it where needed.

Due to budget restrains I had a relatively short run on this show, so Michael took care of how the Chinese animation studio GDC handled the design into final models. And I think he did a great job under a lot of time pressure.
